Burj Al-Arab
Dubai's Burj Al-Arab, the world's tallest hotel, at sunset. It's built on an artificial island almost 1,000 feet away from the coast, with the intention of solidifying its resemblance to a really friggin' big sailboat. At 1,090 feet tall, it's a good 160 feet higher than the tallest building in Dallas, but will be barely 40% the height of the soon-to-be-completed Burj Al-Dubai.
Friday afternoon at the office at 5:15pm = wasting time on Wikipedia and posting purty pictures...
